LEGAL NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF THE SPEIGLETOWN FIRE DISTRICT
TOWNS OF SCHAGHTICOKE AND BRUNSWICK
COUNTY OF RENSSELAER, NEW YORK
PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM RESOLUTION
The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Speigletown Fire District had determined a need to expend up to $150,000.00 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars) to refurbish Truck 35-1. The refurbishment should extend the life of the truck for ten (10) years. The refurbishment will save the taxpayers many thousands of dollars.
The Board has determined that adequate funds exist in the Truck Reserve Fund to support the $150,000.00 expenditure and proposes to withdraw up to that amount. The resolution is adopted, subject to Permissive Referendum of the qualified voters of the district, pursuant to Section 6G of the General Municipal Law.

Tucker Pond Ct. Fire
Early in the morning on July 1st we received a call for a fully involved structure fire on Tucker Pond Ct.

Thank you to the mutual aid companies that responded and helped battle this fire.

We are always looking for new members. Members participate in a variety of ways to serve their community through the Speigletown Fire Company:

Firematic members participate in emergency responses to Fires, Automobile Accidents, and Medical Emergencies.

Fire Police assist Emergency Responders through traffic control and scene security

Social members participate in fundraising, such as our monthly breakfasts, Easter Bunny, and Santa parades.

The mission of the Speigletown District Volunteer Fire Company is to protect life and property from fire and other emergencies through incident response, public education, and thorough training of Fire & EMS personnel. It's the District's endeavor to deliver the highest level of care, including Basic Life Support First Response EMS, to our residents at the lowest cost, with the most modern and advanced Firefighting and EMS equipment to be provided to Speigletown Fire District personnel. As well as having the highest regard for the personal safety of the public and district personnel. As a customer driven organization, it is our mission and number one priority to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
